Qnity Electronics Inc. collaborates with NVIDIA to accelerate innovation in semiconductor and advanced electronics materials through AI-driven modeling and simulation technologies.
The collaboration leverages a range of advanced tools, including NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Nano, ALCHEMI BMD NIM, LAMMPS Kokkos, and CUDA-X accelerated Abaqus, to enhance materials research and development. The initiative is aimed at supporting next-generation applications in artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and advanced packaging technologies, where maintaining signal integrity at higher speeds and densities is critical.
According to Jon Kemp, the increasing scale and complexity of AI workloads are driving demand for materials that offer higher performance, quality, and reliability across the semiconductor ecosystem. He noted that continued progress will rely on innovation and collaboration across industry players.
The partnership aligns with Qnity’s strategy to advance materials innovation across the semiconductor value chain, including chip manufacturing, advanced packaging, high-speed interconnects, and system-level integration.
Randy King added that leveraging accelerated modeling technologies can help reduce development timelines while improving performance factors such as signal integrity, reliability, and manufacturability.
