Madison Huang, a senior director at Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ: NVDA) and daughter of CEO Jensen Huang, is scheduled to visit LG Electronics Inc.’s robotics hub in South Korea on Tuesday, according to industry sources.
Huang is expected to hold closed-door discussions with senior LG Electronics officials as the companies deepen cooperation in artificial intelligence infrastructure and robotics. The meeting is expected to focus primarily on robotics development and will take place at LG Electronics’ data factory under construction in southern Seoul.
LG Electronics is developing the facility as an infrastructure platform to support advances in humanoid robotics. The site is expected to play a role in the company’s broader efforts to integrate AI capabilities with robotics hardware and related systems.
The planned visit follows LG Electronics’ announcement last week that it intends to introduce a next-generation humanoid robot capable of bipedal walking in the first quarter of 2027. The robot will be developed using Nvidia’s robotics platform.
LG Electronics said it had signed a memorandum of understanding with Nvidia at the U.S. chipmaker’s headquarters in Santa Clara, California. LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo and Jensen Huang attended the signing.
The cooperation comes as technology companies increasingly combine AI computing infrastructure with robotics platforms to accelerate development of autonomous and humanoid machines. For LG Electronics, the partnership with Nvidia provides access to computing and robotics technologies as it expands its presence in the emerging humanoid robotics market.
