Semiconductor Veteran Joe Bedewi Joins Morse Micro

Joe Bedewi, Chief Financial Officer at Morse Micro

Morse Micro, a Wi-Fi HaLow silicon provider, has announced the appointment of Joe Bedewi as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), as the company looks to strengthen its leadership team amid ongoing growth.

Bedewi brings more than 30 years of experience across financial strategy, operational improvement, capital raising, and mergers and acquisitions. His career spans both public and private semiconductor companies, where he has supported organizations through expansion and strategic transitions.

He joins Morse Micro from Uhnder, where he served as CFO and was involved in financing initiatives, growth strategy, and public company readiness. Prior to that, he held the CFO role at Altium, contributing to sustained revenue growth and an increase in market capitalization. His tenure also included overseeing operational improvements and supporting acquisitions across multiple business units.

Earlier in his career, Bedewi was Corporate Vice President and CFO at Lattice Semiconductor, where he led acquisition-related activities and transformation efforts. He also spent over 15 years at Intel, working across manufacturing, supply chain, and systems implementation functions.

Commenting on the appointment, Michael De Nil stated that Bedewi’s experience aligns with the company’s requirements as it continues to scale operations and expand its market presence.

Bedewi noted that Morse Micro’s technology positioning and global market opportunity were key factors in his decision to join. He also highlighted the potential to contribute to strengthening the company’s financial and operational structure in the coming phase.

Bedewi holds a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Business Analysis from Arizona State University. He is currently based in Austin, Texas, and is expected to relocate to Sydney in line with his new responsibilities.
