Sue Ennis Joins Realbotix to Drive Consumer AI Growth

APPOINTED

Realbotix Corp. (TSX-V: XBOT) (Frankfurt: 76M0.F) (OTC: XBOTF) has appointed Sue Ennis as President to lead the expansion of its Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business, marking a strategic move to strengthen its position in the emerging market for human-centric AI and humanoid robotics.

Ennis joins Realbotix from Hut 8 Corp., where she served as Head of Investor Relations and Government Affairs. During her tenure, she played a key role in shaping capital markets strategy, supporting strategic initiatives, and enhancing investor engagement as the company scaled to a multi-billion-dollar valuation. With experience in raising over $1 billion and delivering strategic communications across sectors such as AI, digital infrastructure, and fintech, Ennis brings a strong blend of financial, operational, and storytelling expertise to her new role.

At Realbotix, Ennis will lead the company’s D2C subsidiary, which focuses on integrating robotics, artificial intelligence, and advanced materials to create personalized user experiences. Her mandate includes building a premium, design-led platform that combines hardware, software, and intelligent services to enable deeper human-AI interaction. The company aims to define a new category of “embodied AI,” where intelligent systems operate beyond digital interfaces into physical, interactive environments.

The D2C strategy is centered on three core pillars: advancing materials innovation to create highly realistic physical products, launching a customizable subscription-based AI platform for one-on-one engagement, and expanding the distribution of more affordable robots capable of emotional and physical interaction. This approach reflects a broader shift in the AI landscape, where physical embodiment and personalization are becoming key differentiators.

Andrew Kiguel, CEO of Realbotix, noted that Ennis’s experience across capital markets, technology, and high-growth environments positions her well to lead the next phase of the company’s D2C expansion. He emphasized her ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both consumers and investors.

Ennis highlighted that AI is transitioning from purely software-based applications to physical, real-world experiences. She stated that Realbotix is well positioned to capitalize on this shift by building a proprietary platform that addresses growing demand for companionship, wellness, and human-AI interaction.

The company’s focus also aligns with broader societal challenges, including rising levels of loneliness globally. Realbotix’s D2C products are designed as assistive tools to support emotional well-being and mental health by enabling personalized interaction and companionship.

The appointment follows the recent addition of a new Chief Operating Officer, signaling Realbotix’s continued investment in leadership as it scales operations across its core business units.
