(TSXV: IBAT) & (OTCQB: IBATF), an advanced technology provider of modular direct lithium extraction (DLE) systems, has appointed Garrett Galloway as an executive officer, effective April 6, 2026. He will continue in his current role as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development.
Galloway joined the company in May 2025. Since then, he has led several key initiatives. His responsibilities include business development, strategic partnerships, financial planning, and investor relations. The appointment reflects his expanding role within the company as it moves into a new phase of growth.
Chief Executive Officer Joseph A. Mills said the decision highlights the importance of corporate development in IBAT’s strategy. He noted that Galloway has played a central role in advancing partnerships and capital market activities. These efforts are critical as the company works to commercialize its direct lithium extraction (DLE) technology.
Galloway brings more than 15 years of experience in the energy sector. He has managed a wide range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and financing deals. Before joining IBAT, he served as Vice President of Finance at QuarterNorth Energy. He has also held leadership roles at other private and public energy companies. He began his career at BOK Financial.
IBAT is focused on modular DLE systems designed to improve efficiency in lithium extraction. The technology is gaining attention as demand for lithium continues to grow. This demand is driven by the expansion of electric vehicles and energy storage systems.
