RiderNav Introduces Q5 Pro LED Lights for Motorcycles

The optional Amber Lens Cover turns white output into high-intensity amber.

RiderNav has introduced the Q5 Pro, a high-output LED auxiliary lighting system designed for adventure touring and long-distance motorcycles, featuring native integration with BMW’s Wonder Wheel controls alongside a universal option for other 12V motorcycles.

The new lighting system delivers 22,000 lumens of illumination with a beam distance exceeding 200 metres, targeting riders who frequently travel on unlit roads or in challenging weather conditions. RiderNav said the Q5 Pro combines a long-range centre beam with a wide floodlight pattern to improve visibility of both distant obstacles and road edges.

The system also includes a yellow daytime running light intended to improve motorcycle visibility during daylight riding. An optional amber lens cover can be fitted to convert the output into amber lighting for improved performance in fog, heavy rain and snow.

A key feature of the Q5 Pro is its dual-controller architecture, allowing riders to select a control system based on their motorcycle.

For compatible BMW Motorrad models, the RLC CAN-X Controller connects through model-specific adapter cables without requiring wiring modifications. The controller enables riders to adjust four brightness levels using the motorcycle’s native BMW Wonder Wheel, synchronise the auxiliary lights with turn signals and activate a strobe warning function using the horn button. Compatible models include the R1300GS, R1250GS, R1200GS, R1250RT, K1600, F750GS and F850GS, among others.

For motorcycles outside the BMW ecosystem, RiderNav offers the RLC3 Rotary Dimmer, a universal controller compatible with virtually any 12V motorcycle. The controller provides rotary brightness adjustment, beam switching and hazard flash functions without requiring smartphone applications or software configuration.

The Q5 Pro is designed for demanding riding environments and carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. According to the company, the lighting system incorporates ceramic capacitors to improve durability under heat and vibration, while an intelligent thermal management system automatically reduces output when operating temperatures exceed 70–75°C, restoring full brightness once temperatures return to normal.

“The Q5 Pro represents our commitment to solving real problems riders face,” the RiderNav team said in a statement. “This is purpose-built hardware that performs when it matters most.”

The Q5 Pro is available immediately through RiderNav’s online store, with pricing starting at $711.20. The company is offering a limited-time launch discount, along with a 90-day money-back guarantee and a two-year launch warranty.
