OMRON Electronic Components has announced a collaboration with KS Technologies to develop an add-on Long Range (LoRa) communication module for its Weather Sensor. OMRON selected KS Technologies (KST) for its expertise in LoRa integration and its track record of connecting sensors to LoRa networks. The partnership aims to streamline deployment by enabling seamless communication between OMRON’s Weather Sensor and existing LoRa-based infrastructure.
The integration of LoRa technology allows users to collect and transmit environmental data over long distances while maintaining low power consumption.
