GOQORO Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the IoT platform brand “+Style” and its related assets from BBSS Corporation, a subsidiary of SB C&S Corp. under the SoftBank Group. The agreement was formally signed on March 6, 2026.
Headquartered in Tokyo, GOQORO is a specialized provider of IoT solutions. The acquisition is intended to strengthen the company’s capabilities in the smart home sector by integrating its advanced artificial intelligence, IoT, and robotics technologies with the service infrastructure built around the +Style platform.
The +Style platform operates under the concept of “Adding Smartness to Everything” and has gained recognition for engaging users in the product development process from the planning stage. The platform has introduced a wide range of connected devices designed to enhance everyday living, helping shape the evolving smart lifestyle market.
With the acquisition, GOQORO plans to expand the platform beyond device connectivity by incorporating AI-driven services and robotics solutions into the ecosystem. The company aims to build a comprehensive smart living environment that spans lighting systems, sensors, and home automation technologies.
According to GOQORO, the move aligns with its broader vision of “Future Living (Mirai-Seikatsu),” where intelligent, connected technologies make advanced smart lifestyles more accessible to consumers.
