Humanoid robotics developer Agility Robotics has rebranded as Agility, marking a strategic shift as the company expands its focus across emerging robotics applications and industries.
The company said the new name reflects its broader vision for humanoid automation. As robotics adoption accelerates across sectors, Agility aims to scale its technology beyond current deployments and support new industrial and commercial use cases.
The rebranding follows an extensive brand review and development process. According to the company, the initiative involved contributions from multiple stakeholders across its ecosystem, including founders, engineers, and operators responsible for deploying humanoid robots in real-world environments.
“With our rebrand to Agility, we’re signaling our readiness to scale beyond our current deployments and our ability to lead the adoption of humanoids across many new industries,” said Daniel Diez, Chief Business Officer at Agility. “As we expand into new partnerships and enable new use cases, it is critical that our brand reflects the maturity of our technology and our commercial momentum.”
Agility develops humanoid robotic systems designed to perform physically demanding, repetitive, and potentially hazardous tasks. The company says its robots have been operating in real industrial environments for more than three years, providing practical experience in deploying humanoids alongside human workers.
The firm has more than a decade of engineering research behind its robotics platform. It is currently working toward delivering what it describes as the first cooperatively safe humanoid robot by 2026.
As part of the rebrand, the company has introduced a refreshed visual and verbal identity. The updated brand elements draw inspiration from the hardware and software systems the company designs and builds. The new logo emphasizes motion, reliability, durability, and progress.
Agility said the new brand will focus on real-world deployment scenarios, highlighting humanoid robots working alongside people in operational environments and reinforcing the company’s emphasis on practical automation solutions.
