Tessolve has appointed Ravi Kumar Chirugudu as President and Chief Operating Officer, strengthening its leadership team as it expands its global footprint in semiconductor and embedded engineering services.
Ravi Kumar brings over 35 years of industry experience spanning silicon design, embedded systems, software, and product development. His appointment comes at a time when semiconductor demand is accelerating globally, driven by artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and advanced electronics across industries.
In his new role, Ravi will lead Tessolve’s growth strategy. His responsibilities include scaling global engineering capabilities, strengthening strategic customer relationships, and accelerating innovation across semiconductor and system domains. He is also expected to drive operational excellence and build cross-functional teams across regions.
The leadership move follows key milestones for Tessolve. These include the acquisition of Dream Chip Technologies and a recent $150 million investment from TPG. The company is leveraging these developments to enhance its position as a global engineering partner across the semiconductor value chain.
Srini Chinamilli, Co-Founder and CEO of Tessolve, said the appointment supports the company’s expansion plans. “As semiconductor demand continues to grow, it is creating opportunities across the entire lifecycle—from design and packaging to validation and systems integration,” he said. “Ravi brings deep domain expertise, strong customer connect, and execution capability that will help us strengthen our leadership position.”
Ravi Kumar highlighted the industry’s rapid evolution and Tessolve’s potential. “The shift toward AI-driven systems is increasing complexity across the semiconductor ecosystem,” he said. “Tessolve’s strong engineering foundation, global presence, and people-first culture provide a solid platform to build scalable, differentiated solutions.”
Before joining Tessolve, Ravi held senior leadership roles at HCL Technologies, Altran, and Wipro. He managed large global teams and led major engineering programs across multiple sectors. He began his career at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), where he worked on advanced research in CCD technologies and satellite payloads.
Over his career, Ravi has contributed to the development and launch of more than 1,000 products across high-tech, energy, and manufacturing industries. His experience in scaling engineering organizations is expected to support Tessolve’s continued expansion.
Tessolve operates in a semiconductor market valued at approximately $550 billion. The company partners with 18 of the top 20 global semiconductor firms and employs over 3,500 engineers across 12 countries, including India, the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Malaysia.
