GM Modular’s MAGEDGE Combines 45W Wired, 15W Wireless Charging

G+ MAGEDGE Magnetic Power Bank

GM Modular has expanded its personal technology portfolio with the launch of the G+ MAGEDGE 10,000mAh Magnetic Power Bank, a portable charging device that combines wired and wireless charging with a built-in retractable Type-C cable.

Priced at a maximum retail price of Rs. 7,499, the power bank is currently being offered at a discounted price through GM Modular’s official website. The company is positioning the product as a multi-device charging solution aimed at consumers who increasingly carry smartphones, earbuds, smartwatches and other connected devices.

The MAGEDGE features a 65-centimetre retractable Type-C cable capable of delivering up to 45W of charging power. It also supports 15W magnetic wireless charging for compatible smartphones, allowing users to switch between wired and wireless charging depending on the device.

The combination is designed to address a common challenge for mobile users: carrying separate cables and chargers for multiple devices. The built-in Type-C cable can be used for compatible devices, while the wireless charging function supports smartphones and selected accessories.

The power bank also includes a built-in stand, allowing users to position a smartphone for hands-free viewing while the device is charging. Wireless charging support extends to compatible earbuds and smartwatches, adding further functionality to the compact accessory.

Jayanth Jain, CEO and Managing Director of GM Modular, said the product was developed around the need to simplify everyday charging as consumers increasingly rely on multiple connected devices.

“As people rely on more connected devices throughout the day, charging has become an everyday requirement, but managing different cables and accessories can still be inconvenient,” Jain said. He added that MAGEDGE was designed to bring multiple charging options into a single compact device.

The launch comes as consumer electronics companies increasingly focus on accessories that combine several functions within smaller form factors. For consumers, the appeal of such products lies in reducing the number of individual charging accessories required for daily use and travel.

With MAGEDGE, GM Modular is moving beyond its traditional electrical and smart-home product categories into personal technology accessories. The company said the new product reflects its broader focus on combining convenience and functionality in products designed around everyday consumer use.
