Doosan, NVIDIA Align on Robotics, Power Systems, and AI Infrastructure

Doosan

NVIDIA Corporation and Doosan Group have expanded their collaboration to accelerate development across physical AI, robotics, AI factory infrastructure, power systems, and advanced electronics materials, highlighting the growing convergence between industrial manufacturing and artificial intelligence-driven computing ecosystems.

The partnership spans multiple Doosan Group businesses, including Doosan Robotics, Doosan Bobcat, Doosan Enerbility, and Doosan Corporation Electro-Materials BG, each contributing to different layers of the emerging AI factory value chain. The collaboration is focused on integrating NVIDIA’s accelerated computing platforms and physical AI stack with Doosan’s capabilities in industrial automation, construction machinery, energy generation, and advanced materials for data center hardware.

A key area of focus is robotics and physical AI. Doosan Robotics is integrating NVIDIA technologies such as Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, Cosmos foundation models, the Newton physics engine, and Jetson Thor into its Agentic Robot OS platform. The goal is to enhance robotic perception, reasoning, simulation, and on-device intelligence, enabling industrial robots to operate more effectively in dynamic environments. The collaboration is expected to strengthen simulation-to-real workflows, improve physics-based calibration, and enable more adaptive and task-specific robotic systems.

The companies are also exploring advanced use cases in industrial automation, including depalletizing, sanding, and next-generation robotic configurations such as dual-arm and humanoid systems. These developments aim to support Doosan Robotics’ transition toward a full-stack AI-first robotics company, expanding beyond traditional robotic arm manufacturing.

Beyond robotics, Doosan Bobcat is evaluating integration of NVIDIA physical AI technologies across construction, landscaping, agriculture, and material handling equipment. The objective is to develop autonomous systems capable of perceiving real-world environments, adapting to changing conditions, and executing tasks with reduced human intervention. The collaboration also aims to support an ecosystem for compact autonomous machinery across industries.

In the energy domain, Doosan Enerbility is exploring opportunities to support NVIDIA AI factories and the NVIDIA DSX AI factory platform through its portfolio of large-scale power generation technologies, including gas turbines, steam turbines, hydrogen fuel-cell systems, and small modular reactors. The collaboration may extend to AI factory power design, generation optimization, and evaluation of low-carbon energy solutions to meet rising electricity demand from accelerated computing infrastructure.

Doosan Corporation Electro-Materials BG is contributing through advanced copper clad laminate (CCL) materials used in printed circuit boards for AI servers, networking systems, and accelerators. These materials are critical for ensuring high signal integrity and reliability in high-performance AI data center infrastructure.
