emnify Builds Leadership Bench to Scale Global IoT Connectivity Business

emnify business leadership announcement

emnify has appointed Sacha Herrmann as Chief Financial Officer and Christian Friis as Chief Revenue Officer, adding senior finance and commercial leadership as the IoT connectivity company prepares for its next phase of international growth.

The appointments come after Kenneth De Spiegeleire was named Chief Executive Officer and Frank Stoecker became Executive Chairman of the Board. The leadership changes are intended to strengthen emnify’s financial, operational, and commercial capabilities as it seeks to expand its position in the global IoT connectivity market.

“We have proven momentum. Our ambition is to now turn it into global category leadership,” De Spiegeleire said. “That requires sharper focus, disciplined execution, and the right capabilities in the right seats.”

Herrmann joins emnify with more than 25 years of international finance and operational experience. He most recently served as CFO of Soldo, where he oversaw the company’s transition from card distribution to broader financial governance.

Earlier, Herrmann held a leadership role at Nexthink, helping the software company scale into a global business valued at about $3 billion. His experience spans Switzerland, the United States, and the United Kingdom, including work with cross-functional teams and capital raising alongside international investors. He is a CPA and began his career in audit.

At emnify, Herrmann will oversee the global finance organisation and help develop the company’s financial and operating model as it scales.

“emnify has the technology, market opportunity, and ambition to build a defining company in global IoT connectivity,” Herrmann said. “My role is to help translate that ambition into a scalable operating model, bringing clarity to decisions, discipline to investment, and the financial foundation required for durable growth.”

Friis brings experience across AI, B2B software-as-a-service, fintech, and telecommunications. Before joining emnify, he led the global go-to-market organisation at Dixa and previously held senior positions at TDC and Nets. He began his career in strategy consulting before moving into commercial leadership roles across technology markets.

As CRO, Friis will oversee emnify’s global revenue organisation, with responsibility for customer value, commercial execution, and international expansion.

The company is positioning the appointment around a more focused approach to international growth, with an emphasis on strengthening its commercial engine and improving the predictability of revenue.

“emnify has built differentiated technology in a market with enormous potential,” Friis said. “The opportunity is to convert that advantage into even greater value for customers and more predictable growth worldwide.”

The leadership additions come as demand for IoT connectivity continues to push businesses toward more scalable and globally managed connectivity infrastructure. For emnify, the immediate priority will be turning its technology and existing market momentum into broader customer adoption while building the financial and commercial systems needed to support international expansion.
