Bluejay Electric Bikes has launched its limited-edition 2027 lineup, opening preorders on September 16 with production capped at 180 bikes. The new models combine the brand’s vintage-inspired design with an upgraded display, longer claimed range and updated drivetrain.
The 2027 collection introduces three new colors — Bordeaux Red, Navy Blue and Olive Green — while bringing back two previously sold-out options, Sunkissed Ivory and Mint Green.
The Class 1, UL-certified e-bikes feature an upgraded display that provides riders with more detailed ride information, including speed, battery level, assist level, odometer, resettable trip meter, remaining range and a four-digit lock code.
Bluejay has also upgraded the battery, giving the bikes a claimed range of up to 60 miles per charge. Shimano CUES 10-speed gearing is included for smoother shifting. Each model also comes with a color-matched rear rack rated to carry up to 55 pounds.

Limited Production, Premium Positioning
Founder Jen Cohen Bogan said the 2027 Premiere Lite reflects years of research, design work and customer feedback. The company has positioned the models around its established combination of vintage styling and modern e-bike technology.
The new collection also includes a Bluejay keychain and matching vintage-inspired light and bell. The brand has attracted celebrity attention from Jennifer Lopez, Melissa McCarthy and Kendall Jenner.
Priced at $4,595, the 2027 models sit in the premium segment of the e-bike market. Bluejay said the first delivery will include only 180 bikes.
The company is offering free shipping on preorders placed during the first month. The limited production run, new color options and component upgrades form the central elements of the 2027 launch.
